Pet Rodeo's 2025 Holiday Hoodie
It's time to deck the halls, y'all! We LOVE the holiday season here at Pet Rodeo, and we especially love nostalgic and quirky vintage Christmas cards and decorations. So, when we set out to design our first funny Christmas "sweater"... we knew exactly where to start.
We pulled out our collection of vintage Christmas cards from the 1940s and 1950s to find our inspiration. The trend back then was to use cute little black Scottie dogs in all the holiday images - they were just so festive! And, while we love that look... we wanted to add our own Pet Rodeo style and humor into the mix.
We are just tickled at how our Holiday Hoodie came out. It's a pretty dang cute Christmas sweater for women or men, and its the perfect blend of vintage holiday cards, Texas style, and appreciation for our dog of the year: the Chihuahua! You don't have to own a chihuahua to appreciate the spunk and spiciness of these tiny pups, and after a year where our top selling tee was our Spicy Chihuahua tee, we decided to double down on Wawas and make them the star of our limited edition Holiday Hoodie, too!
This adorable little pack of Chihuahuas (aka "wawas") singing by the fireplace is just what you need to add some joy & comfort to your holiday season. Our original art is screen printed on a SUPER soft, fleecy mid-weight hoodie with a 100% cotton face, roomy pockets up front for your poop bags (you're welcome, dog parents), and natural drawcords that add a little extra holiday style.
But, of course, the best thing about this hoodie is how it helps pets in need. We will donate 20% from each hoodie purchased to our nonprofit veterinary clinic partners, which makes a huge difference at this time of year. That's enough for them to provide free vaccines, or a few months of heartworm prevention pills to a pet in need. If we sell all the hoodies we made... it will be enough to for lifesaving emergency surgery for two pets. It's a big deal, y'all.
