Our Story

 Howdy!

I'm Amy, the human behind Pet Rodeo. I started Pet Rodeo in 2025 to raise money and awareness for the cause I've dedicated my life to: helping ALL dogs and cats get the veterinary care they need. Pet Rodeo is a 100% charitable business, meaning we donate all net proceeds to nonprofit organizations that provide low-cost and free vet care for families who cannot afford the rising cost of for-profit veterinary care. 

I believe that our personal style and the clothes we wear make a statement. At Pet Rodeo, we make design-forward graphic tees to help you express your love for animals and advocate for a kinder world, in a way that fits your authentic style! There's a ton of mass produced, low-quality animal tees out there, churned out by huge companies who don't actually care about animals or communities. I wanted to create something different for people who really do care about animals.

This cause is deeply personal for me. I had the honor of serving as the President & CEO of Emancipet, a non-profit veterinary care provider, for almost 20 years. During my career, we provided low-cost and free care for over 2 million pets, and I learned that between 50-60 million pets in America regularly go without the medical care they need, just because their families can't afford vet care. 

Families who can't afford the high cost of for-profit vet care love their pets as much as I love mine and you love yours. But sometimes, we all need a little help. Nonprofit veterinary clinics provide that help, every single day. Their work keeps pets healthy, heals them when they are sick, and helps them get more good days with the people who love them.

I believe this "access to vet care gap" is the most urgent animal welfare issue of our generation. And, I believe that nonprofit veterinary clinics are the best answer to this challenge. I know first hand that when communities support nonprofit clinics, they can see more patients and help more families keep their pets healthy and happy. And that makes the world a better place for animals AND people!
